Laravel platform with a fully manageable backend sprinkled with javascript for interactions
C40 is a global summit that brings together mayors from more than 100 cities around the world.
Organized in 2021 by the city of Buenos Aires, our challenge was to create a platform that not only facilitates the sharing of
information with the general public but also serves as an
administrative tool for the organization. This platform stores participants' diplomatic information, special requests, and details about their entourages, while also providing an
online interface for accessing summit sessions.
To achieve this, we developed a platform using Laravel, featuring a variety of
roles and profiles (Government, Press, Guests, Delegates, Youth, Speakers, etc.) with segmented information and specialized features that directly supported the organization (e.g., check-ins, entourage registration, activity sign-ups). For content publishing, we created a backend CRUD system that allowed the organization to manage not only the news section but also the events grid and live streams of each talk.
